Hi, I'm Jay. I build things for the web.

I've spent the last 7+ years working across web development, website architecture, WordPress, modern JavaScript frameworks and custom web applications — first inside development agencies, and for the last couple of years also as an independent freelancer.

Over that time I've shipped 100+ websites and web applications, everything from business websites and eCommerce platforms to LMS systems, lending calculators, and AI-powered products. Some of that work happened as part of a team — leading WordPress developers, managing client relationships, training newer developers — and some of it independently, taking a project from a first call through to launch and support on my own.

After six years working inside agencies, I made the move to freelance work, taking on projects independently and through Upwork, where I've maintained a 4.7-star rating across completed engagements. I currently split my time between an ongoing role as Senior Developer at Dev and Digital and independent client work.

Today, my focus is increasingly around combining traditional web development with AI and automation to build smarter digital experiences — without losing the fundamentals that make a website actually work: speed, clarity, and something the client's team can maintain after I'm gone.
